Experimental and Simulation Research on the Energy-Saving Potential of a Sunspace—Taking an Apartment in Qingdao as an Example

This paper investigates the thermal performance and energy-saving potential of sunspace an old apartment building in Qingdao through experiments software simulations. study found that different modes user behavior can have a substantial impact on studied winter. The bedroom with non-ventilated showed higher average temperature than without sunspace. However, had more heat loss when was naturally ventilated, especially at night.
